1.1. What is My Sony?

  My Sony, is the Sony Global Unified membership aiming at offering exclusive fabulous & personalized service to Sony fans. Each My Sony ID is unique all over the world.

 

1.2. How to be a My Sony InfoMember

Online registration: visit My Sony website (www.sony.com.hk/mysony), select account type (Personal or Corporate) and follow the instructions to complete the registration.

1.3. How to be a My Sony ProMember

Register as My Sony InfoMember and use your My Sony ID to register product warranty, you'll then be upgraded to ProMember & entitled for an extra 3-month extended warranty*.

1.4. What is the difference between My Sony InfoMember and ProMember

InfoMember is the free basic My Sony membership. Upon registration, members can enjoy 1st hand Sony news update, selected product initial booking offers and Sony Style Studio discount, etc.

ProMember is the upgraded My Sony membership. Simply register product warranty with your My Sony ID to become a ProMember to enjoy more benefits.

2.1. How to enjoy the extended warranty period

a)

My Sony member: Simply register product warranty with your My Sony ID and your registered production will be entitled for the extended warranty.

b) Non-member: Register as My Sony member first, then register production warranty with your My Sony ID.

2.2. Which product categories are covered by extended warranty scheme

All AV products (excluding accessories & PlayStationR 2) & LCD monitor can enjoy 3-month extended warranty.

2.3. If I want to register warranty and don't want to join My Sony, what can I do

You can choose to register non-member warranty service. But for such case, he/she will not be able to enjoy any benefit offered by My Sony.

2.4. Where can I check the standard warranty period of my product

2.5. How can I check my warranty record
