Sony has discovered that its Hard Disk Photo Storage ("HDPS -M1") may have the possibility of the data stored on it to be damaged during the data transfer process. In Hong Kong, the "HDPS-M1" with the following serial numbers may be affected: 1000021 - 1000050 and 1001430 - 1001449 .

To reduce the possibility of this symptom from occurring , Sony Corporation of Hong Kong Limited will provide a firmware to customers who have purchased the "HDPS-M1" with the serial numbers indicated above. We request customers to contact our 24-hour technical support hotline at 2389-3202 for more details.

* How to check the serial number

The model name and the serial number are indicated on the seal on the backside of the product. (Circled in red in the picture below).
