Sony is offering a firmware update for Sony Blu-ray disc players BDP-S1E and BDP-S300.

The utility updates the player firmware to version 3.70 for Sony Blu-ray disc players BDP-S1E and BDP-S300 and provides the following benefits:

Improvements over firmware version 3.20:
‧Improves BD-Java compatibility to enhance interactivity with some BD-ROMs.

Additional improvements over original firmware:
‧Improves BD-Java compatibility to enhance interactivity with some BD-ROMs.
‧Compatibility with the newly released BD-R/RE format (BDMV).

To verify whether your Blu-ray disc player needs an update, please refer to the back of the player.

A yellow label represents that your Blu-ray disc player has already been updated.

If you cannot find the above-mentioned yellow label, please bring along the purchase invoice and go to our Customers Service Centers to collect both the BDP-S1E/BDP-S300 Firmware Update Software and Instruction Guideline for firmware update after online registration of the product warranty and My Sony (Premium) Membership (http://www.sony.com.hk/mysony/warranty/begin.jsp).
