Sony Corporation of Hong Kong Limited (thereafter “Sony Hong Kong”) today announced its adoption of new Chinese trade name '索尼香港', with effect from 1 April 2009.

The standardization of Chinese trade name was made in accordance with Sony’s brand guidelines so as to further strengthen the company’s brand management. The new Chinese trade name applies to the business operation in Hong Kong.

Sony Hong Kong has registered the new Chinese trade name '索尼香港' under its current Business Registration, while other information of its registration with the Companies Registry such as the use of English company name (i.e. Sony Corporation of Hong Kong Limited) remains unchanged.
