Termination of free out of warranty repair of the CCD image sensor

Sony will terminate the free out of warranty repair on October 31, 2010 for owners of applicable Sony products, announced on October 3, 2005 under “Notice to Owners of Sony Digital Still Camera, Camcorder, CLIÉ Handheld Computer and Professional Camcorder (DVCAM format)”.

Sony will accept repair of the CCD of applicable products based on Sony service centre terms and conditions from November 1, 2010 onwards.
