Sony Hong Kong has organized its first Creative Science Competition for primary school students, aiming to raise children's interest in science and to boost their awareness of environmental protection in their daily life. The competition received numerous entries with creative ideas from participants. A presentation ceremony was held on March 5, 2016 at the Cyberport to present awards to winners of 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes as well as 'The Most Creative Award' and 'The Most Environmentally Friendly Award'.
HK's young scientist, Mr. Stark Chan, was one of the judges of the competition and encouraged students to develop their interest in science and to apply science knowledge in their daily life. A Sony Science Progam workshop was part of the event joined by over 100 primary school students and parents who learned how to make IC recorders and basic science principles about audio transmission.
