Is it possible to use a portable Hard Disk Drive (HDD) with the car stereo?

It is possible to use a portable HDD as long as it is compatible with the same file system to which this model of car stereo corresponds.
The file system for the car stereo receiver corresponds to the Windows operating system (FAT16, FAT32) by mass storage class (MSC). It does not correspond with any other file system.
NOTES:
- The exFAT file system is not supported. The unit only supports FAT16 and FAT32 file systems.
- It is possible to connect a USB Flash-type drive formatted with the correct file system.
- It is possible to connect a portable USB rotational HDD that receives power from a secondary source (AC or DC).
