PHA-2A Compatibility with Apple Products

PHA-2A can supports max. 192kHz/32bit of PCM and 2.6Mhz, 5.6MHz of DSD. But It is limited by connecting device's specification. Please see instruction manual of connecting device to find Sampling rate which you can playback.

Successful operation in all environments and circumstances is not guaranteed.
If the connected device becomes unrecognized, you may not be able to perform playback.

Note:
Do not unplug the cable during playback, otherwise playback maybe become unavailable.
If the unit does not release sound, please reconnect the cable.

※1： Support until 44.1kHz/48kHz of PCM

※2： If the sound is distorted, set the equalizer to “Off” or “Flat” on your iPhone/iPad/iPod

※3： If you have installed the compatible apps in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod running iOS7 and above, it can playback high-resolution audio format. The headphone amplifier is compatible with audio format files up to 96 kHz/24 bit PCM

※4： In combination with some Apple product after iOS11, The Battery of the Apple product will be charged. Therefore the battery run time of PHA-2A is reduced. (As of 12 / 2017)

Simple tests are conducted on the following models to check the music playback ability via a digital connection. However, not all functions are guaranteed.

Connection method:
You can connect the headphone amplifier to an iPhone/iPad/iPod using the USB cable supplied with your iPhone/iPad/iPod.
