Notification of Free Replacement Battery Pack for VAIO VGP-BPS26 model

This is an update to our March 2, 2016 announcement titled “Important Notification of Battery Pack VGP-BPS26 in VAIO Personal Computer” on the launch of the battery pack replacement programs.

Please confirm if your battery pack is one of those affected from affected battery pack confirmation. If it is identified as an affected unit, please contact Sony technical support hotline. In addition, please remove the battery pack from your PC and use an AC adapter for your safety, while you are waiting for a replacement.
