Notice on Digital Photo Frame “DPF- W700” firmware update for Facebook specification changes

Dear Valued Sony customers,

Certain features will no longer be available when using Facebook in the “DPF- W700” Digital Photo Frame after April 30, 2015, due to specification changes by the service provider.

A firmware update in response to these specification changes is being prepared for release in late May and will be available for download in the Downloads section of this website.

As a result of the firmware update, certain functions will change as stated below.

[Affected functions after April 30, 2015]
<Before installing the firmware update>
- You will not be able to receive friend’s* photos.
However, you will be able to receive photos in which you are tagged (but without the sender’s name).
- You will not be able to use the “Like” option.

<After installing the firmware update>
- You will be able to receive photos from friends * who use DPF- W700, but are not able to receive from friends * who do not use DPF- W700.
- You will be able to receive photos in which you are tagged regardless of the usage of DPF- W700.

*Users whom you have registered as friends on Facebook.
