Unable to input Chinese characters

If your Android TV show alphabets as characters instead of Chinese characters when you try to input Chinese characters using Chinese keyboard, change your TV keyboard to Multilingual keyboard:

1. Press the Home button on your TV remote control.
2. Select  Settings at the upper right corner of the Home screen and press the Enter button.
   NOTE: For Android 7.0, select Settings at the lower corner of the Home screen and press the Enter button.
3. Press the Down arrow button to select Device Preference, and press the Enter button.
4. Select Keyboard and press the Enter button.
5. Select Current Keyboard and press the Enter button.
6. Select Multilingual keyboard and press the Enter button.
