"System Disabled" message appears at startup when entered the wrong password three times.
I entered a wrong Power on Password three times. The message "System Disabled" appears, and I cannot start the computer.
Pull the power button and leave it for a few seconds (until the power indicator goes out) to forcefully turn off the computer, and then turn on the computer again. When the computer prompts you to enter your password, enter the correct password. You can start up the computer.
Note: When entering password, make sure that [Num Lock] and [Caps Lock] are disabled.
If you forget the Power on Password, return the computer to our service representative to clear the password. Please bring along the VAIO Warranty card or invoice to proof for the owner of the set.
The Power on Password is one of the security functions. Therefore, if we cannot confirm that the caller is the user of the computer, we may not be able to accept your request.
