All the VAIO models sold after January, 2007, have been preinstalled with Windows Vista. If Windows cannot run properly, please rescue the data by using VAIO Date Rescue Tool. Regarding how to troubleshoot this issue, please refer to the following related information. In addition, as Internet or Email settings have been initiated after a system recovery, user needs to reset the settings. When user backs up the data, please refer to Where to back up the data and Whether you can back up the data properly. If user uses third party software, please be sure to back up data, or consult the software manufacturer about how to back up data before a system recovery. If customers perform data backup by themselves, SONY cannot guarantee the data security. Sorry for inconvenience. Note
