What is the difference between Stamina and Speed mode?

The computer is equipped with two different performance modes. Stamina mode uses the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator to conserve battery power. Speed Mode uses the NVIDIA video controller for improved performance. The performance selector switch is used to change the performance mode of the computer. The computer must be restarted once the performance mode is changed before the new setting will take effect.
