How to make sure the mixer is not muted and the volumes are not too low?

1. On the taskbar, double-click the speaker icon.
2. In the Volume Control window, ensure that none of the Mute lights are on and red.
NOTE: If any of the Mute boxes are on and red, click to clear the Mute box.
