Why doesn't DVgate recognize or control these DV devices DCR-VX1000/E, DCR-VX700/E and DHR-1000 when connected?
DVgate does not recognize or control the DV devices DCR-VX1000/E, DCR-VX700/E and DHR-1000 when connected.
Reference on Japan website: DCR-VX1000 is excluded from the models that work with VAIO computers equipped with Windows Millennium Edition. (Japanese version)
This is due to the specifications in DCR-VX1000/E, DCR-VX700/E and DHR-1000 not matching with the driver specifications in Microsoft® Windows® Me/XP.
Note: This symptom cannot be resolved through the use of programs.
