How to install or remove the Internet Explorer shortcuts from the operating system?

1. Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel window, under Pick a category, double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon.
3. In the Add or Remove Programs window, in the left pane, click Add/Remove Windows Components.
4. In the Windows Components Wizard window, in the Components: box, click to select or deselect Internt Explorer.
5. Click the Next button.
6. In the You have successfully completed... window, click the Finish button.
7. Restart the computer.
