What to do if the window appears smaller and withiin a black frame, when the VAIO computer restarts?
* If the computer is restarted in the state where the window is zoomed with the Magnify button, the window appears smaller and within a black frame.
* If the screen resolution is set to Resolution: 1024 x 600 on Display Properties, a black frame will appear around the window whenever the VAIO computer is started.
To resize the display of the LCD, press Fn + F7 key.
To resize the display again, press the Magnify button twice.
Note:
- The above procedure may solve the appearance of the black frame temporarily, but the black frame may appear again when the system is restarted in the state of enlarged display.
- If the screen resolution is set to 1024 x 600, the black frame cannot be hidden at the startup of Windows.
* If the screen resolution is set to Resolution: 1024 x 600 on Display Properties, a black frame will appear around the window whenever the VAIO computer is started.
