PC not able to play midi files
Why Won't My PC Play MIDI Files?
1) Click on [Start] -> [Settings] -> [Folder Options] and select [File Types] field to check that the "MIDI" file extension is associated with Mplayer.exe, or some other device capable of playing midi files.
2) You may also want to check the advanced section under : [Start] -> [Settings] -> [Control Panel] -> [Multimedia] and select the [MIDI] tab.
