How to back up and restore Security Platform Data?
Backing up and restoring Security Platform Data.
Security Platform Backup includes all data required in case of emergency. After hardware or storage media failure or a Trusted Platform Module failure, Security Platform Restoration re-establishes access to Security Platform Features for all users.
In addition, user can backup and restore Personal Secure Drive data. Data from other applications using the Security Platform Solution (for example secure e-mail) is not included in Security Platform backup.
1. Click Start -> All Programs -> Infineon Security Platform Solution and click Manage Security Platform.
2. Click the Backup tab.
On the next screen that appears, user can specify the Backup Archive. User can also back up Personal Secure Drive, if this feature has been configured. Click the Configure button if the feature is yet configured.
Click Next.
Click Browse to locate Backup Archive File and click Next.
After clicking Backup, Infineon Security Platform Backup Wizard will be appear.
Please locate Backup Archive file and click Next. To backup Personal Secure Drive, please select Backup Personal Secure Drive and locate Personal Secure Drive Backup file.
Click Next.
Click Next and click Finish.
After click the Restore button, Infineon Security Platform Backup Wizard will be appear. Please locate Backup Archive file and click Next.
Enter your Basic User Password and click Next.
If the Personal Secure Drive is loaded, please unload it.
