What limitations are there when playing back images with MovieShaker Ver.2.0?
The limitations are as follow:
1. Lost frame at the time of playback
Lost frame occurs when you playback a large amount of data such as a movie with many effects or DV files.
However, exporting a movie is done without any problem.*
2. Shaken scene
Playing back the scenes created with MovieShaker causes lost frames or dropouts, or white frames are displayed sometimes.
However, exporting a movie is done without any problem.*
* If the size of virtual memory is small, an error message appears at the time of export and export cannot be performed successfully sometimes.

3. DirectDraw Acceleration
If DirectDraw Acceleration of [QuickTime] is used on some models, playback is not normal sometimes.
To resolve this symptom, please refer to the following procedure to disable [DirectDraw Acceleration] of [QuickTime] and playback the images.
--Procedure--
1) Click the [Start] -> [Settings] -> [Control Panel].
2) Double-click on the [QuickTime] icon to display the [QuickTime Settings] dialog box.
3) Click [Video Settings] from the pull down menu.
4) Uncheck the [Enable DirectDraw Acceleration] box.
5) Click the [Close] button on the upper right of the [QuickTime Settings] dialog box to close the window.
4. Fire effect
If you playback a movie you have stored with [Quick Save] using the fire effect, playback is not normal and the system is forced to shut down, depending on the combination of the added effects.
We would not recommend the use of [Quick Save] when fire effect is used.
5. Settings of [True Color (24 bits)]
- When the display is set to [True Color (24 bits)], the system is sometimes forced to shut down during the playback of still images.
- When still images that contain combined multiple images in the size of [160 x 120] are stored with [Quick Save], and are played back, the system may be forced to shut down during the playback.
To resolve this symptom, set the display to [High Color (16 bits)] or [True Color (32 bits)].
