How to resolve if remote control does not function?

The remote control does not function.

    Each of the steps below may represent a possible resolution for the symptom.
    1. Too far from the unit.
      Move the remote commander closer to the remote sensor on the system to perform remote operations.
    2. Obstacles in front of the remote sensor.
      Remove the obstacle blocking the remote sensor.
    3. The battery of the remote commander has depleted.
      Replace with a new battery.
    4. Strong light source near the remote sensor (such as direct sunlight or fluorescent light of high-frequency lighting).
      Do not place the system near a strong light source.
    5. The unit works on batteries.
      When the unit is operated by the batteries, you cannot turn on the unit with the remote control. Please turn on the unit manually. Use the remote control after the unit is turned on.
