Why can't the i.LINK or Memory Stick device be used when the Ultimate Battery Life profile is selected?

When the Ultimate Battery Life profile is selected. the i.LINK and Memory Stick devices cannot be used.

Upon the selection of the Ultimate Battery Life profile, the i.LINK and Memory Stick device function are turned off to enable longer battery usage.

To re-use these devices:
A. Select a profile other than Ultimate Battery Life.
B. Enable the i.LINK device option and turn off the Memory Stick Power Saving option.

Please follow the steps below for (A):
1. Right-click the Power Panel icon on the task bar and click Edit/Create Profiles....
2. Select a profile other than Ultimate Battery Life.

Please follow the steps below for (B):
1. Right-click the Power Panel icon on the task bar and click Edit/Create Profiles....
2. Right-click on i.LINK Port and select Enable.
3. Right-click on Memory Stick Port Power-saving and select Off.
