When to use the LP2 and LP4 modes?
The LP2 Stereo playback mode is possible for stereo recording at twice as long as the standard recording time of the MiniDisc, and the LP4 Stereo playback mode is possible for stereo recording at four times as long as the standard recording time of the MiniDisc.
The LP2 mode is ideal for long time recording or playback of music whereas LP4 mode is ideal for recording meetings or compiling a large number of music tracks on a MiniDisc.
The LP2 and LP4 modes provide longer stereo recording than SP stereo recording. User can use these modes to achieve longer recording/playback times for music/voice/sounds.
Note: Contents recorded in LP modes by Net MD Walkman cannot be played in other MD players which do not support LP modes.
