To change the applications that start when double-clicked on Windows 9*, Windows Me and Windows 2000

- Tell me how to display the text file with the extension of ".txt" with applications other than "Notepad" (notepad.exe).

- Is it possible to display image files with the extension of ".jpg" and ".gif" with applications for editing images other than the browsing software such as "Internet Explorer"?

1) Click [Start] ->[Programs] -> [Windows Explorer].
2) Click to select the file that you want to open.
3) Right-click on the file while pressing the "Shift" key.
4) Click [Open with] and in the [Open with] window, select an application that you want to open the file with and click [OK] button to continue.
