Why is the position of the Recycle Bin icon in Windows XP changed?
The position of the Recycle Bin icon in Windows XP changes.
When the VAIO computer starts for the first time, the Recycle Bin icon is positioned at the lower right-hand corner of the desktop. When subsequent changes are made to the display resolution, the Recycle Bin icon will also reposition itself.
To set the Recycle Bin icon back to its normal position, please follow the steps below.
1. Right-click on any open area on the desktop, point to Arrange icons and click Auto Arrange.
2. The Recycle Bin icon will reposition itself back to the standard location.
