Sony has recently become aware that some units of the E-mount lens FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM “SEL1635GM” for Interchangeable Lens Digital Camera α^TM (Sales started: July 26, 2017) may cause the camera to be inoperable or the function of the rear monitor of the camera may be affected, when the lens is attached.

Sony will offer free inspection and free of charge repairs for the affected lenses.
