"It is Sony HK's policy to respect the privacy of any individual of the public. Sony HK will fully comply with the obligations and requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (the "Ordinance"). Sony HK will not edit or disclose any personal information without consent of the relevant individual unless Sony HK has good faith belief that such action is necessary under law and/or for protection of the interests of the relevant individual. All personal information collected by Sony HK will be kept accurately, safely and confidentially for such period as reasonably required. Sony HK will reply and/or comply with any individual's legitimate request to review, correct or delete of his/her personal information1 in accordance with the manner stipulated within the Ordinance."

This Data Access/Correction
Request Form is, with effect from 1 April, 2001, in such
contents as recommended by the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance
(the "Ordinance"). According to section 20(3)(e) of the
Ordinance, a data access request may be refused if it is
not made in this Form after the said date. Copies of this
Form are available at our Customer Services Centre, our
Sony Style Store and Sony Home Page at www.sony.com.hk.

Please note that under section 19 (1) of the Ordinance, the data access request within 40 days would be complied after receiving the request form. If the request is unable or has valid ground to refused to be complied, in accordance with section 19(2) or 21(1) of the Ordinance, you will be given a notification of such matter within the same 40 day period. |
