Perfect with FE 70-200 mm F2.8 GM OSS II on A7SIII.

I find that there was no significant lag time in focus (paired it with the A7V), if any.

This converter works great with my 70-200mm F4 macro mark 11 lens!

Good optical quality, solidly built, compact and light weight. The SEL20TC works well with my FE 300mm F2.8 GM, it increases the focal length to 600mm with the maximum aperture of F5.6

My first time using this product for landscape shooting at Bukit Antarabangsa. I was able to zoom in KL scenery from far making my 70-200mm became 140-400mm. The cityscape building appeared right in front of me. What an amazing teleconverter !

This is a fantastic and high-quality bit of kit. I have it paired with a Sony 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 on a Sony A7iv and am very satisfied.

Bought to pair with the 300 f2.8 and it works very well. Very happy with the results. Will experiment on my 70-200 f4 as that also works well with the TC14.

The 2X noticeably softens the fantastic performance of the 300 mm f/2.8, but I find that using Topaz's Sharpen AI renders the images satisfying. I assembled a 12-image, 300 Megapixel 600 mm with this teleconverter and the 300 mm, and it is very impressive. However, using just the 300 mm to cover the same area is really sharp and doesn't require AI sharpening.

This 2x works perfect, I used it almost every time from my near trip

bought this with the 200mm G lens, and try to take a shot at the touring ship on the Victoria Harbour , it becomes 400mm zoom. An instand close up with a sharp picture , even the aperture become from F4 to F8, but it can use ISO /shutter to compensate.

I had a lot of reservations on getting this 2x teleconverter as I have seen a lot of reports of significant optical quality loss and blurry images on the 100-400gm. I ordered it anyways to test for myself, knowing that I could just return it if the quality was not up to par. The 2x TC turns the 100-400mm to a 200-800mm. In APS-C crop mode on a full-frame Sony you get a 300mm-1200mm lens! Most of these shots I've included are at the far end of that range and excellent quality. I think the reports specific to the moon being blurry with the 2x TC relates to the fact that punched in to that extreme length there are a lot more variables at play. For one you need a really stable tripod and should manually focus on the moon to ensure it is crispy sharp. The rest of the photos i've included were using autofocus on a Sony a7c or a Sony a7s iii.

I had used it for 1 month, mainly using for bird and moon. 1. Need to lot of light 2. Sharpness is there. 3. It is heavy, need some physical training I like this product. The pictures is taken 200-600G + 2x Teleconverter + Handheld. The picture is cropped.

This is a great upgrade to my kit I love using it and my photos show it

Bought to use with my Sony 300mm f2.8 gm lens .Image quality is superb This allows me to get closer views for my nature and wildlife photography.

2 x 增距器可以拍到一些遠地方，但去到600mm但令到光圈收細到F13光圈，如果有充足陽光用2 x 距距器才會比較好，否則真的要考慮降低解象度這個問題。

Excellent product,I’m using it with my 300 2.8 and 600 f4

Bought it less than a month. Took some architecture building shoot. was great with the lens, fast focus.

Adding 2x to my 200-600 telephoto lens makes all the difference. Don't know why it's not included. Wish it worked on my other lens.

Superb build and quality. Little loss of quality when used with my Sony 70-200 2.8 GM MK II

Perfect for my 100-400GM lens with no apparent loss of sharpness or detail. Obviously the aperture takes a small hit but with a modern full frame camera with good ISO ability this isn't really a problem in decent light.

I cannot tell how much reduction on the quality of the images by using this teleconverter. From my eyes, it does what it is supposed to do. It goes nice with FE24-70F2.8GM2.

I had my eyes on this lens ever since I head about it. The flexibility to give an extra reach for my 70-200mm but at a fraction of the cost and weight was a no-brainer. What was sweeter was I bought it when it was on sale. The quality is superb despite having 2 stops drop but when the range it adds to my tele, the compression results is awesome. Lightweight, compact, ready to pair with my 70-200, and it's always in my camera bag.

My Len is 70-200 , with teleconverter, it becomes 140-400. It is lighter and easy to carry along in outdoor shooting.

Image quality is still excellent even with this 2x teleconverter. The main drawback in using this is the effective aperture reduces by 2 stops and although this is well publicised, one of the effects of this is that focussing tends to be slower using the teleconverter compared with the main lens only.

Comes with a nice carrying case, this teleconverter lens brings you closer to the subject elegantly. The captioned photograph was taken by 70-200 GM II and out of my surprise, the focusing is still very swift and accurate. Would definitely recommend this little gem.

Got this for my 600 f4 but end up stick to the 70-200 gm 2 to be used as secondary wildlife lens. Optical quality drop - yes, but for the extra reach and convenience over owning another lens, totally acceptable. AF is very responsive too.

Useful with my telephoto lens to bring wildlife subjects even nearer

Loved this convertor, although the performance was a bit affected, picture quality is still good

Losing 2 f-stops means you need to be fully mindful on how to use this combination. With careful selection of shutter speed when shooting @ f13, you can still achieve acceptable results - with softer edges. The extra reach translates to added flexibility in composition of my shots.

Lens works well, but the f stop drops to 13 for my 200-600mm lens. This means I could use the lens only umder bright sunlight.

Great to have this 2x TC as an option. Doesn't degrade image quality as much as I thought.

the 2x TC I used to take picture with me 600 mm 4/l lens and it is very good and fast focused

Great for Video reach of course but for photos on the A7R4? Just crop-in as the image looks basically identical.

I wondered if this would have a big adverse impact on the quality of images that i get from my 100-400 gm lens. Clearly you do lose a lot of light, but the autofocus is still excellent and the the 800 mm reach that this can give me is fantastic for wildlife photography. It is very easy to insert between the camera and lens and hardly adds to the weight at all. Very please

I used Sony's 2X convertor with with Sony's 200mm-600mm FANTASTIC lens attached to Sony's A6500 on a tripod. Set @ 600mm focal length. EQIV= 1,800 focal length, F13. "AZALEA" Distance from flower to camera sensor 22 feet.(estimate)

This is perfect for my Sony 100-400 mm lens and a7Riii. Should have bought this one instead of my 1.4 teleconverter last year. Big Manfrotto tripod with gear head makes it easy to take photos of ships in the harbor, 3 miles away, 800 mm.

I have not had this converter long. It is however proving to have been an excellent purchase. used with my FE 70-200 it really does the business and gets the shots that wold otherwise have been impracticable.

I bought teleconverter last month agoand i am happy with that

First of all let me start by saying that I am not a professional. I purchase the A7III in December, 2019 and it is my first full frame camera that I planned on using primarily for wildlife photos. I am using the FE 200-600 G OSS Lens which gives me wonderful photos. I don't use a blind or a hide so I decided to try the 2X Teleconverter after I found it was difficult to get as close as I would have liked to at times without scaring what I was trying to photograph. I did find that camera settings may need a little tweaking to adjust for lighting conditions. The photos that I have attached are crops and were shot handheld or while leaning against a tree.

if you need that extra length for wildlife then this is the teleconverter for you amazing quality used with the 200mm x 600mm sony lens

Bought this for with my 70 to 200mm G Master - works a tear.

Not good for my 100-400mm under low light conditio

I wanted to extend the reach of my Sony A7iii and 70-200f2.8GM for occasional wildlife shots and couldn't justify the 100-400GM so turned to the 2x convertor. I have not been disappointed as the combination retains superb image quality and the fast autofocus/tracking that these camera achieve. The convertor is very well constructed and comes in its own soft case for protection. Its fit and go and is transparent in use, apart from dropping widest aperture to 5.6, but I figured I can compensate by ramping up the ISO. The purchase has been everything I was hoping for, allowing me much closer shots of wildlife (and anything else for that matter!), is fast and accurate to focus and IQ is excellent. For example, it locked onto a small swarm of flying insects, followed them and I was able to take a sharp shot of them. It also tracked a duck taking off and remained locked on the focus even though it flew beyond a tree. It has really expanded my interest and ability in wildlife and action shots without costing the earth. Would I recommend it? Yes, at the drop of a hat!.

I love this combination it give the reach and moment . All the below photo had not been edit. I got the teleconverter because i dont had the reach for G MASTER 70 / 200. Geat combination

Since 6 months now, I am using this teleconverter with the G Master FE 100-400mm super-telephoto zoom lens (SEL100400GM), mostly for wildlife photography. Converting that lens to 200-800mm range, it allows me to get close-up shots of small birds and animals that are quite far away. I am absolutely happy with the image quality even in this combination (usually using it at 800mm), and with modern cameras like the A7 series, allowing high ISO setting with little loss of quality, the small aperture is no problem for the speed. Thanks to the image stabilisation and light weight I can even use it without a tripod, and routinely do that.

Okay, here's the thing, I got this because I was a little frustrated that the 70 - 200 mm zoom only goes to 200. I've never used a converter before. Maybe I'm naive, but what I didn't realize is that F2.8, one of the huge selling points of the zoom lens, is no longer possible. Instead F5.6, I believe, is the fastest the lens + converter will go. This is very bittersweet, especially given the price of the converter. If this fact had be publicized in any fashion, I may not have purchased the converter -- but I can't find it anywhere in Sony's specs. That said, optically it's very solid & takes great images. Just don't don't expect a super shallow depth of field or the ability to shoot sports in lower lighting conditions without compromise.

沒想到加左sony的2x後，畫質上沒有明顯的影響， 除左個光圈縮到11，對焦慢左輕微外已經完全沒有投訴了，我用在a7r3+fe100-400gm這套機鏡身上試的。

表現理想，成像出色，容易組裝，但有點重，安裝後會降低2級光圈，若價錢再下調就會更加吸引，性價比更高。
