I brought 2 cameras to take photos on my holiday and I kept using the 85mm rather than the 24-70mm. I prefer using a zoom lens until I used this 85mm. Now, I am a prime lens fan. The pictures look much better using the prime.

令大光圈同實用並存嘅一枝鏡

以往大光圈鏡頭多數都好重，但呢枝 85 1.4 GMII 就意外地做到大光圈同時又輕，而且對焦仲要好快。 雖然其他廠有同焦段 F1.2 嘅鏡頭，但係佢哋個重量就多好多。反而呢支做到少一級光圈，但輕接近一半，用佢嘅時候輕鬆好多，而且價錢仲合理唔少。咁至於1.2同1.4個差別係咪真係咁大呢？就見仁見智啦。 對焦方面快之餘又可靠，令枝鏡開盡光圈嘅時候實用性大大提升。令到我除咗會拎去做嘢之外，仲會想日常出街拎去用。

家人不懂攝影，用新鏡跟他們拍照後，異口同聲說跟以前拍的有明顯差別，之前常用的是24-70GM2 輕巧手持拍攝整天也可以，攜帶方便外遊必帶之鏡頭

I bought this lens having loved a 90mm Lieca lens when shooting film and have no regrets. It is amazingly sharp, great for landscapes and portraits, handles difficult lighting extremely well and very light weight.
