Sound lags from the sound Bar when connected to a source device via HDMI

IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check the Applicable Products and Categories section of this article before starting these steps.

Depending on the sound source output from devices (Blu-ray Disc Player, set-top box (STB), game consoles), the sound may lag behind the picture. If this is the case, select the solution which corresponds to the connected source device.

When the source device is connected to the Sound Bar via HDMI

If the Sound Bar has a SYNC (A/V sync) function, set it to 0ms. For how to change the setting, refer to the Sound Bar manual.

When the source device is connected to the TV via HDMI

    • If your TV has a function that delays the image, try adjusting that setting. For details, refer to the TV manual.

    • If the issue is not resolved after adjusting the TV settings, connect the source device directly to the Sound Bar. For details on the connection method, refer to the Sound Bar Startup Guide.

NOTE: If you want to connect many devices to the Sound Bar and the number of the HDMI terminals are insufficient, connect the source device that delays the sound to the Sound Bar via HDMI first. If no more HDMI terminals are available on the Sound Bar, connect other devices to the HDMI terminals on the TV.
