Cannot register warranty successfully, how to solve the problem?

    When registering product warranty, if the below messages were shown instead of “successfully registered warranty”, please refer to the below procedures to confirm the warranty registration is successful.

     

    Scenario 1:

    Because the system is busy, please try again later” is displayed during registration process.

    Solution 1:

    Please login to My Sony account,  then select “Product Warranty Record and Redemption Registration” from the menu on the left. Please confirm if product warranty record of your purchased product is present.

    If a warranty record is present, please retain the original purchase receipt for verification purpose.
    If there is no warranty record present, please retry the warranty registration using another web browser or network connection.
    If the problem cannot be solved, please contact us “Shopping Live Chat” Service available on the lower right of our webpage.

     

    Scenario 2:

     “Duplicated serial number” is displayed during registration process.

    Solution 2:

    Please login to My Sony account, then select “Product Warranty Record and Redemption Registration” from the menu on the left. Please confirm if product warranty record of your purchased product is present.

    If a warranty record is present, please retain the original purchase receipt for verification purpose.
    If there is no warranty record present, please confirm the product model and serial numbers was entered correctly. You can refer the FAQ “How to locate the product model and serial numbers”.
    If the problem cannot be solved, please contact us through “Shopping Live Chat” Service available on the lower right of our webpage.

    Serial number is invalid” is displayed during registration process.
