How to disable the navigation sound in Internet Explorer?
Disabling the navigation sound in Internet Explorer.
1. Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel window, under Pick a category, double-click the Sound, Speech and Audio Devices icon.
3. In the Sound, Speech and Audio Devices window, under or pick a Control Panel icon , double-click the Sounds and Audio Devices icon.
4. In the Sounds and Audio Devices Properties window, click the Sounds tab.
5. On the Sounds tab, under Program events, click the down arrow and then click to select Start Navigation.
6. Under Sounds:, click the down arrow and then click to select (None).
7. Click the OK button.
