Why is there sound output even when the headphone is connected?
When headphones are connected to the headphone jack on the rear side of the computer, sound is simultaneously produced from the speakers at the side of the Liquid Crystal Display as well as from the headphones.
The computer is designed to produce sound from these speakers even when the headphones are connected to the headphone jack. The sound output level cannot be muted, but can be lowered to no sound output or to the desired output level by adjusting the volume control located at the top right side of the Liquid Crystal Display.
