Sony’s action to customers affected by the security vulnerability found within certain versions of DDL file (CDDBControlSony.dll, Ver.2.1.0.16, 2.4.1.1 - 2.4.1.7) which was installed in in SonicStage and SonicStage Mastering Studio.

We wish to clarify that this symptom is caused by Gracenote module and they are responsible to distribute the updated program for security and the detailed information of the symptom.

However, customers are informed of the vulnerability of the software program for the target precuts through each product’s support web page and guide customers to Gracenote’s web page where they can download the update program.
