When I change the level of the display color of my notebook screen, my notebook computer cannot display images on the TV. Why is that so?
This symptom occurs due to the specifications of the product. When you increase the level of the display color, the consumption of the video memory built in the VAIO increases.
If you change the level of the display color such that a larger memory capacity than that of the built-in memory is consumed, this symptom occurs. To resolve the symptom, you have to change the level of the display color of the screen.
When you start applications that use a DV camera, "Smart Capture" for example, they consume video memory substantially.
