Why are the images on the display distorted or afterimages remain sometimes when the VAIO computer starts up?
    or
Why do belt-like or box-like noises appear momentarily, the images on the display are distorted or sometimes remain as afterimages on the Liquid Crystal Display of my VAIO computer in the following situations?
    - Immediately after turning on the computer or when the "Windows" log appears
    - Immediately before the Windows desktop appears
    - When the system moves to standby mode (system suspend) or resumes from the standby mode
    - When the system enters into the hibernation mode or resumes from the hibernation mode

This symptom occurs due to a change of resolution by the graphics accelerator. It is not a problem with your VAIO computer and you may continue to use your computer as it is.
