When I specify the spacing between the icons on Internet Explorer Ver.5.5 in [Icon Spacing (Vertical)], the icons on the desktop do not line up properly. Why?

    When the spacing between the icons is specified to 20 or a smaller value, the icons are displayed disorderly. Why?

    To resolve this problem, you can specify 34 or larger numbers as a setting value in the [Icon Spacing (Vertical)] window.

    Procedure:
    =========
    1) Click [Start] -> [Settings] -> [Control Panel] and double-click the [Display] icon.
    2) In [Display Properties] window, click the [Appearance] tab.
    3) Under the [Item:] option, select [Icon Spacing (Vertical)] and specify 34 or larger numbers in the [Size:] option.
    4) Click [Apply] and [OK] to save the new changes.
