    Solution

To set the volume for calls, notifications, media and alarm

    1. Find and tap Settings > Sound.
    2. Use the sliders to set the volume for:
      • Media (music, video, games & other media)
      • In-call
      • Ring and notifications
      • Alarm

Note! The ringtone and the notification sound volume cannot be separated from each other. All preinstalled applications will use the Ringtone & notifications volume that have been set.

Tip: You can also raise or lower the volume for a specific category by pressing the volume keys at the side of your Xperia device up or down when a sound is played - e.g. when your device is ringing or you listen to a music track or play a movie. The device will save the setting.

    To mute the device

    2. Drag the slider below Ring and notification volume to the left.

To activate or deactivate specific sounds and vibrations
