Locate the SSID and Wi-Fi Password of my Action Cam

    IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check the Applicable Products and Categories section of this article before starting these steps.

    The SSID and password for the Wi-Fi connection are printed on a sticker on the Action Cam operating guide or on the battery cover. If the sticker is lost or is difficult to read, connect the camera to a computer and then follow the steps according to the computer operating system to locate the WiFI_INF.TXT file.

    Microsoft Windows Operating System (Windows)

    1. Connect the camera to a computer using the supplied USB cable.
    2. Turn on the power.
    3. Click on the Start button.
    4. Depending on the operating system, select Computer or This PC.
    5. Select PMHOME.
    6. Select INFO.

    7. Open the WIFI_INF.TXT file.

    Apple Macintosh Operating System (macOS)

    1. Connect the camera to a computer using the supplied USB cable.
    2. Turn on the power.
    3. Click on Finder.
    4. Select Devices.
    5. Select INFO.
    6. Select PMHOME.
    7. Open the WIFI_INF.TXT file.
