What if I've locked myself out of my Walkman player?

Activating the screen lock feature will increase the security of the player. Nevertheless, if you forget the pattern, PIN code, or password, you will not be able to unlock the screen. That's why we strongly recommend that you note or store the pattern, PIN code, or password needed to unlock the player in a separate, secure location in case you ever do forget.

If you have forgotten the pattern, PIN code, or password and cannot retrieve or recall it, you will not be able to unlock the screen by yourself.
Please contact the nearest service center in order to get the device unlocked.

NOTE: When you have set a PIN code or password to lock the screen, follow these steps to unlock the screen:

1. Input the PIN code or password.
2. Select the check mark at the bottom right of the screen to unlock the screen.
