Regarding the suspension of inspection and maintenance services for parallel imported audio products

Dear Sony customers,

Thank you for your support of Sony products.

With immediate effect, Sony Hong Kong Customer Service Center will suspend providing inspection and repair service for parallel imported* audio products.

Audio products include: Walkman digital music players, headphones, wireless speakers and speaker docks, digital voice recorders, boomboxes, radios and portable CD players and audio systems. 

For Sony Hong Kong Official products are imported and sold by Sony Hong Kong and its authorized dealers, there is a “Official product” label with the QR code of Product Warranty Registration Website. All records of Official product are subjected to the computer system in the customer service center as final decision.

*Parallel imported product: it refers to the products which are not imported and sold by Sony Hong Kong and its authorized dealers.
