Stop and start the Wireless Zero Configuration service in Windows XP
1. Click the Start button, then click Run.
2. In the Run window, next to Open, type cmd.
3. Press the ENTER key.
4. In the Command Prompt window, type net stop wzcsvc.
5. In the Command Prompt window, type sc config wzcsvc start= auto.
6. Press the ENTER key.
NOTE: The [SC] ChangeServiceConfig SUCCESS should be displayed.
7. Type net start wzcsvc.
8. Press the ENTER key.
NOTE: The Wireless Zero Configuration service was started successfully message should be displayed.
9. Type exit.
10. Press the ENTER key.
