* It is Explorer (explorer.exe) that executes the function (called "Explorer" in general) of displaying the contents by double-clicking [My Computer] on the desktop or showing a list of folders on the left-hand pane of the window by clicking [Explorer] in the [Start] menu.



To display Folder Bar, please try the following methods:

- Right-click on the [My Computer] icon
--Procedure--
Right-click on the [My Computer] icon on the desktop and click [Explorer].

- Using Shortcut Key
--Procedure--
Press the [E] key while pressing the [Windows] key.

- Using the [Start] button
Note that the position of [Windows Explorer] in the [Start] menu varies depending on OS.
--Procedure--
- For Windows 2000 and Windows Me
Click [Start] -> [Programs] -> [Accessories] -> [Windows Explorer].
- For Windows 98SE and Windows 98
Click [Start] -> [Programs] -> [Windows Explorer].

- From [Run]

1) Click the [Start] button and click [Run].
2) Enter "explorer" in the [Open] text box and click [OK].

- From the toolbar
In the case of Windows 2000 and Windows Me

Click the [Folders] button in the toolbar.
* If the [Folders] button is not displayed, display it with the following method:
Click [View] on the toolbar and click [Toolbars] -> [Standard Buttons].
The toolbar including the [Folders] button appears.

In the case of Windows 2000, Windows Me and Windows 98

Click [View] on the toolbar and click [Explorer Bar] -> [Folders].

- Right-click on the [Start] button
* The contents of the [Start Menu] folder are displayed on the right-hand pane.

Right-click on the [Start] button on [Taskbar] and click [Explorer].
