Why are two folders with the same name displayed on Windows Explorer?
When opening some subfolders in the CD-RW/DVD, CD-R/RW or DVD drive using Windows Explorer, the pervious folder is sometimes being displayed.
Microsoft verified this symptom.
This symptom occurs when the Enable CD Recording of this drive option in the Recording tab of CD Drive Properties is selected.
Follow the steps below to avoid this symptom.
1. Start Windows Explorer and press F5.
Alternatively, in the View menu, click Update to the latest state.
Note: This symptom does not occur when a CD-ROM drive that is unable to write data is built in or connected to the computer. This is because the Write tab does not appear in the Drive Properties dialog box.
