    How to perform back up and restoration of the account information that has been set in Outlook Express Version 5.0 or later?

    Please follow the steps below to perform back up.
    1. Start Outlook Express.
    2. From the menu bar, click Accounts.
    3. Click the Mail tab.
    4. From the account list on the display, select the account name that needs to be backed up and click Export.
    5. When the Export Internet Accounts window appears, specify a file name and it's location and click Save.

    To perform restoration of account information, please follow the steps below.
    1. Start Outlook Express.
    2. From the menu bar, click Accounts.
    3. Click Import, specify the file and click Open.

    Note: Users may be required to set up a new dial-up networking connection after importing the account information.
