How to set the time length for e-mails to be marked as Read when it is viewed on the preview window?

Setting the time length for e-mails to be marked as Read when it is viewed on the preview window.

Please follow the steps below to set the time length for e-mails to be marked as Read:

Note: The steps below are based on Outlook Express Ver.6.0.

1. Start Outlook Express.
2. Click the Tools tab and click Options.
3. Click the Read tab.
4. Select the Make message read after displaying for * seconds option.
5. Enter the desired time length.
6. Click OK.
