Headphones | Switching between Bluetooth devices
Use these steps to manually switch the Bluetooth connection for your earbuds or headphones from one paired device to another, for example, from your smartphone or Walkman while you’re out to a tablet or computer at home.
Note: If your earbuds or headphones support multipoint connection, you may not need to switch between devices manually. For more details, see Connecting to two Bluetooth devices at the same time (multipoint connection).
* Menu names and steps may vary depending on your device model or OS (operating system).
Switching to another device
Before switching devices, pair your earbuds or headphones with each audio playback device you want to use.
For pairing instructions, see the Help Guide for your model.
When you turn on your earbuds or headphones, they may automatically reconnect to the most recently connected device.
To switch to another device, use that device's Bluetooth settings.
