This short video highlights the user experience and benefits of AI Camerawork on the Xperia 1 VII.
A man is capturing handheld video of a woman in a bright red outfit, using his Xperia, as he follows her dancing movement in a colourfully graffitied alleyway. A caption reads, “AI Camerawork for stable and framed video”.
We see a close-up of the Xperia display, and he taps on the screen to select her as she dances into the frame.
(AI Camerawork is available on 16 mm and 24 mm lenses / Accuracy of the feature may vary according to environmental circumstances and settings. Some performance restrictions may apply)
As she continues dancing, he walks towards her, and we can see the image remains stable even as he moves with the handheld camera shot. A white box tracks her face or eyes tenaciously, representing the autofocus tracking, even as she moves rapidly throughout the frame. An overlay and a switch to a monochrome shot is used to highlight the “Human pose estimation technology” which tracks and predicts the movement of her arms, legs, head, and body.
Returning to full colour, the image splits to demonstrate “POSITION LOCK” in “OFF” and “ON” modes, with a white cross over each image to highlight how the position lock setting keeps her centred in the frame even as the camera and subject move independently.
The shot transitions back to a single full-screen shot, and fades out as two more dancers join the dance.
