How to change the settings of "Show" and "Do not show" hidden files in Windows 98(SE).

Refer to the following procedure.

Files to which "Hidden Attributes" are set do not usually appear when you click "My Computer" or "Explorer".
By changing the settings of "View" in accordance with the procedure described below, however, you can check them on the screen.

(Procedure)
1. Click the "Start" button and click "Programs" - "Explorer".
2. Click "Folder Options" from the "View" menu.
3. Click the "View" tab on the "Folder Options" window.
4. To display files with hidden attributes on the screen, click the option button of "Show all files" in "Hidden files".
* To make files with hidden attributes not to appear, click the option button of "Do not show hidden files".
5. Click the "OK" button.
